The Home Front Cares is a Service Member, Military Family & Veteran's Charity organization with offices in both Colorado Springs and Denver. We provide an emergency financial bridge and responsive support to Colorado's military members, veterans and their families impacted by service to our Nation.
our mission   arrow

When you donate to Veterans through The Home Front Cares, your tax deductible donation will provide emergency grants to pay essential life expenses like rent, utilities and car repairs. We serve Veterans and their families throughout all of Colorado, and have strong connections throughout the state with other non-profit and referral agencies, military installations, the VA and other veteran service organizations. Our case workers provide referral services to many of these agencies, ensuring our clients receive financial, family and emotional counseling and services, even when they do not qualify for our financial support.

Supporting veterans through The Home Front Cares means that your donation helps families to avoid homelessness and with crucial transportation to continue working or attending school. We provide grants, not loans, and our clients are vetted to confirm their military service and financial need. THFC pays the vendors, such as the landlord or utility company directly in order to ensure that the financial assistance goes to pay exactly what it's intended for. Even with this due diligence, we are structured to act fast. Many of our grants are approved in less than 24 hours—an essential capability because quite often, our aid is the last "save" that keeps a veteran from being evicted or a military family from having their power turned off.

These supporters are some of our most generous donors. We encourage you to support them.
